On Friday, December 8th at 1500 Hrs., the Seaford Fire Department responded to a reported overturned auto with entrapment on Merrick Rd. near Jackson Ave.  Chiefs 6800 (Keith Kern) and 6801 (Tom Cottone) arrived and reported a multi vehicle accident with patient pinned in the overturned car.  Heavy Rescue 687 (Captain PJ Lochner) arrived and began vehicle stabilization and extrication of the female patient.  NCPD ESU assisted with the extrication.   Engine 682 and ambulances 684 and 685 also operated at the incident.   The patient was removed and transported to the trauma center via NCPD ambulance.
