At the June Company meeting, the 2026 Seaford Fire Department Rachel Hayden Scholarship was awarded to SFD EMT’s Isabella Cottone, daughter of Ex-Chief Tom Cottone and to Emily Brown, daughter of Fire medic Keith Brown.  Isabella and Emily will be graduating from Seaford High School at the end of the month.  The award is named after Rachel Hayden who was a Seaford Fire Department EMT who passed away suddenly in 2017.

On hand to present the scholarships were Rachel’s parents; Jim and Jocelyn along with our scholarship Chairman, Pete Mangiolino.
