The members of the Seaford Fire Department celebrated the 95th birthday of our senior member; Ex-Chief Freddie Roth at the August meeting.  Freddie joined the Seaford FD on October 1, 1948 and served as Chief of Department 1964-1965.  He serves as the unofficial historian of the Seaford Fire Department.  At most company meetings, Freddie will bring old pictures from the 1940’s and beyond and tell the history of the Department as well as the history of Seaford itself.  Freddie, a proud Navy veteran is a beloved member of the Department and the Seaford community.
