We serve the community that we all love to call home. Part of what makes Seaford such an amazing place to live are the amazing neighbors. You may have called us before, and we show up to give back to you. The Seaford Fire Department is an ALL VOLUNTEER service that responds to Fire, Medical, Hazardous Materials, Auto Accidents, and a number of other emergencies. In fact, we respond to about 85% of Medical calls when you or a loved one is having a terrible day, and we do it without pay. Neighbors helping neighbors. But we have a problem, WE NEED MEMBERS. We get it you have no time…..we understand. Many of our members work multiple jobs too. But, when you call, we are still there.
On April 23rd from 12p-3p we are hosting a recruitment event at the Seaford Fire Department headquarters located at 2170 Southard Ave. Come down and meet us, see the firehouse that your tax dollars pay for, see what we do, WE NEED YOU. We promise that if you have ever had the urge to serve, to do something bigger than yourself, this is the time to do it. Help your community, your neighbors and friends.
