Busy Weekend for the SFD
Between Thursday morning and Sunday evening, the volunteer members of the Seaford Fire Department answered 23 alarms including EMS, automatic fire alarms and mutual aid to neighboring departments.
The sub freezing conditions have led to increased fire duty throughout Long Island. Our Engine and or Ladder have responded to 5 multiple alarm fires, some being back to back.
The members of the Department will continue to be prepared to respond to all requests for service.
