New Fire Engine Placed In Service
On Sunday, July 24th at 11AM, Captain Pignataro, Lt. Lochner and the members of the Seaford Fire Department placed our new fire engine (682) into service. The planning and building process of the new 2022 Rosenbauer Commander EXT fire engine took nearly two years to complete. The new 682 is equipped with 450 HP Cummins engine, a 1500 GPM Rosenbauer pump and a 750 gallon water tank. This unit replaces a 24 year old Pierce fire engine that was recently sold to the Beale Township Fire Company in Port Royal, PA. The volunteer members of the Seaford Fire Department look forward to using the new rig to serve the citizens of the Seaford Fire District for the next 20+ years
