At 1503 this afternoon we were alerted to stand by at South Farmingdale Fire Department while they battled a working house fire at 391 Violet St, South Farmingdale. While en route, Ladder 683 was redirected to the scene. Led by Lt PJ Lochner, the crew assisted in overhaul duties until released.
