On Saturday, August 28th the Seaford Fire Department hosted the 2021 6th Battalion Parade & Drill.  The 6th Battalion consists of the fire departments from; Bellmore, Levittown, Massapequa, Merrick, North Bellmore, North Massapequa, North Merrick, Seaford and Wantagh.   The day began at 10:00AM with the Old Fashioned Drill held in Merrick.  The drill team from the SFD; The Inmates, took 3rd place overall in the drill.

The parade stepped off 45 minutes late at 6:45PM due to heavy rain in the area.  Despite the delay and the rain, hundreds of members from Seaford and the surrounding communities came out to watch and support the volunteer members of Nassau Counties’ 6th Battalion.
